Aim To increase your knowledge and competence in the water once you have completed your Advanced course. Description This course is a prerequisite to the DiveMaster and Instructor's Course. As part of this course you will have the opportunity to learn such diverse skills as: Self Rescue and aiding a panicking diver. Surfacing an unconscious diver Missing diver procedures. In-water artificial respiration. First Aid procedures for diving. Participating in diving accident related scenarios. CPR Lessons. The dates of the Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver portions of the course are flexible and are split into both academic and practical training sessions. The E.F.R. section of the course can be run over two nights, with two weekends required for the Rescue Diver section. This course is a prerequisite to the DiveMaster and Instructor's course, but regardless of what type of diving you do, the Rescue Diver and E.F.R. course is a great investment in your diving future, and a real confidence booster.
