Aim
To improve your diving skills and knowledge by gaining your Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate in the glorious Marlborough Sounds.

Description
As part of this course you will complete the necessary 5 training dives, with your accommodation, transport and boat provided. The dives are:
 
Night Dive
In your night dive, you will learn the skills needed to dive safely and enjoyably at night, and get to see the wildlife up really close!! 
Deep Dive
Complete your first deep dive (18-30 metres) under the supervision of a knowledgeable, qualified instructor, and learn about the effects of pressure and depth first hand. 
Underwater Navigator
Learn new navigational skills through the use of your compass and natural references, and even learn how to navigate a square pattern! 
Underwater Naturalist
During this dive you will learn to identify different marine species and plant life, making you a more knowledgeable, environmentally conscious diver. 
Wreck
Come and check out your first wreck with us – we’ll show you how to wreck dive confidently and competently.

2 days plus home study

Location
Usually the Marlborough Sounds but you can do your Advanced Open Water on any of our trips away.
